Canada Welcomes International Students
Canada is now one of the most popular international student destinations due not only to the quality of its educational system but also because it has a student friendly immigration regime.
The Canadian government actively promotes its international student credentials. In terms of immigration policy international students can work for up to 20 hours per week during regular academic sessions and full time during scheduled breaks.
Further, Canada has a Post Graduation Work Permit Program which allows students to gain valuable work experience in Canada after graduating. Work permits are valid for the length of your study program up to a maximum of three years.
